Your Photography Session
A typical session begins the moment you enter the studio. Music, a
beverage, and a warm and inviting atmosphere have been combined to
help you to feel as relaxed as possible. We will then spend the next
1-2 hours creating your masterpiece. We will not rush you. We will
take the time you need to capture the perfect shot.
Worth A Thousand Words Photography uses dramatic lighting for most
sessions, which adds to the dimension and depth of your portrait. Dark,
long sleeve tops and pants photograph best with this style of photography.
Please avoid short sleeves and scoop neck tops, however, button up
or V-neck shirts are fine. Please bring at least two clothing choices
to your session. A private area is provided for both clothing changes
and nursing mothers.
While dramatic lighting is used to reveal the depth and dimension of
a person, this can also be accomplished if a bright, light photograph
in your favorite pastel shirt is desired. Please let us know if this
is your preference. We have a variety of backgrounds that will compliment
your vision for your portrait.
Maternity Sessions
The beauty and radiance of a pregnant woman is best captured with dramatic
lighting. We ask that dark pants and a dark top that reveals the belly
is worn for the maternity sessions. If you would like, nude or partially
nude photographs can be taken. These images reveal a classic and timeless
art piece showing the true magnificence of every pregnant woman. Privacy
is guaranteed during your session which means only the photographers,
yourself, and anyone else you choose will be allowed in the studio
while shooting.
Newborn Sessions
Newborn sessions are generally photographed with your baby both clothed
and nude. Accidents may occur while your little one is undressed, so
please plan alternate changes of clothes for Mom, Dad, and anyone else
being photographed with the baby.
